Kea's cool experiment

 Did you know that the kea team made a raft? Well the kea team were doing an experiment for activities we do at camp.

First, we had to split up into our classes. There are waka tahi,rua,toru,wha and the fale. I stayed in the fale with Mr To'oala. Mr To’oala split us into 4 groups. My group  was Faaseina ,Luminous,sale and Usumanu. 

After we got into our groups we had a piece of paper to write down the materials that we needed.

We used bubble wrap,metal wire, cardboard,popsicle sticks and tape.

Then, we used our materials  to make the raft. We used tape to tape the bubble wrap around the cardboard to make it more buoyant.Than we put some Popsicle sticks around it for decoration.

Finally, we got to test our raft. We had to shake the water but it was very buoyant.

Our results were very good. We put a flag on it for decoration.

Christmas

Today me and my family worked very hard to make this huge tent, it took us  nearly the whole day because it was so big. I hope you like what we did.

Rainbow Milk

 This is my Rainbow Milk. We learned about this in science. we learned that when you put food colouring to milk it changes colour and makes a chemical reaction

Ripple's

 Today we learned about ripples.

Do you know what a ripple is. Well a ripple is when a object interact's with the water that makes a ripple.

We also learned about kindness so if you make someone happy you are making a ripple.

 

Kindness

This is my bucket of kindness and unkindness. if you be kind you are being a bucket filler but if you are bullying you are being a bucket dipper.Me and my class were reading books and seeing the different's of being a bucket filler and a bucket dipper. Are you going to be a bucket dipper today?
